A Very Profitable Business

In fact, everybody is interested in high technologies applied in education. Enterprises providing high tech systems are interested as they earn money on it. Educators are interested as they get a percentage of every deal concluded. School principals and education district officials  are interested as they may soon become educators or some analysts and will be cared for   and looked after by the companies which sell such technologies. Parents are interested in them as they provide inevitable success to their children and some spare time for themselves. It is really quite easier to believe that a child in her room is doing her homework and indulge in some dolce far niente  than check what she is really doing and provide some alternative activity if it turns out she chatters at Facebook.

A range of high-tech giants such as Microsoft and Apple are spending lots of money to train special staff how to use the software and hardware they provide for the education process.  Numerous catalogues and online promotions especially focus on school needs offering discounts and good delivery terms.  And all that is money  taken from pockets of taxpayers but who can admit they are going to save on children’s education?

Nowadays sending a child to school or buying her a PC parents hope that the education process will launch itself without their own participations. But, in fact, it never happens like that. To indulge into education themselves people should really be extremely self-disciplined or extremely motivated, which is rarely true with children and teenagers. Parents have become extremely lazy and want school and big companies take their obligations and while the school seems very  reluctant to do it, big companies, on the contrary, are all for it. They find extremely useful for their profits to create a special thinking and right motivation of their future consumers and employees and, what is particularly scary, they seem to succeed in it.  Now you do not have to enquire what your teenaged children are doing with their smartphones, you are just sure there will not be any porn as Steve Jobs guaranteed it.  You do not have to worry that your children will pick up some strange political ideas Google is filtering the content.

Now it seems high time to give the complete control over not only children education and fostering but also birth-giving to huge corporations. Thus, they will be able to make even more money providing us with more useless gadgets and some small dividends if we are extremely resigned.
